Kobe Bryant jumps over a pool of snakes in this stunt that looks odd toward the end. Is it real? We feel sorry for the snakes forced to sit in this pool of water as people jumped on or over them.

Drivers Ready for Lowe's Motor Speedway

NASCAR drivers Casey Mears, Jimmie Johnson, Brian Vickers and David Ragan look ahead to Sunday's 600-mile race at Lowe's Motor Speedway in North Carolina. NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson said he felt bad for the sports journalists who have to cover the race. Johnson: "It's amazing when you are in the car how fast the 600 miles go. I feel bad for all of you who have to sit around and cover it because it's probably five hours of hell. For us it goes quick."

Powerful Machines Provide Surfing Fun Without Oceans

Flow riding can't replace surfing but it is a pretty cool alternative. In this video below FlowRider architect Tom Lochtefeld describes his creation. The wave machine seen in the video is called Bruticus Maximus. Lochtefeld wants flow riding to become a collegiate sport. The wave machines are already aboard some cruise ships.
