Fauja Singh became the first centenarian to complete a full marathon (26.2 miles) yesterday in Toronto. It took Singh 8 hours, 11 minutes and 5.9 seconds to complete the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. CNN says Singh finished dead last, but the record of oldest marathoner is all his. CBC says Singh's coach says the centenarian marathoner is "absolutely overjoyed. He's achieved his life-long wish."

Singh also recently set a bunch of sprinting records for his age group.
