Giants-Patriots Game Tickets Sell For Thousands
As you well know the New England Patriots are 15-0 and they are looking to complete a perfect season by defeating the New York Giants at Giants stadium on Saturday. You might expect tickets for this game to be expensive but would you believe $2000 or $2,500 for a single ticket? WCBStv reports tickets are selling for tha tmuch on StubHub and eBay.
Tickets to see the potential milestone are selling for as much as $1,600 a piece on StubHub, and up to $2,500 on eBay.
Yes, $2,500 for a non-playoff game that will be aired on three different networks, a new NFL milestone in and of itself. You could sit home and switch between CBS, NBC, and the NFL network and make your own history -- it's the first three-network simulcast of an NFL game ever -- for free.
The ridiculous asking prices had some Giants players scratching their helmets.
"We don't need fans like that. And that's okay. It's their money. Like [Jeremy] Shockey always said, if they pay their taxes, they can do what they want with their stuff," linebacker Antonio Pierce said.
A 20-person luxury suite is even up for grabs on StubHub. Got $26,114 sitting around? (That's $1,305.70 per person).
You can look here at the eBay prices yourself and see multiple listings for tickets that cross the $1,000 mark. That's a lot of money to see whether or not the undeafted Patriots will stretch their amazing season to 16 wins. The rest of us will be watching comfortably from home for free.
