Melanie Oudin couldn't make it past the U.S. Open quarterfinals but she shouldn be very happy with her U.S. Open performance since she surprised everyone by beating Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova and Nadia Petrova. As SInotes, Oudin's career may just be starting.
